It’s hard to believe that just one year ago I was working full-time as a nurse with a little dream to cook for people, all day, every day. It’s been quite a journey from MasterChef Australia 2017 to gaining work experience in some of the best restaurants in the country, beginning work as a chef, starting my business in food and publishing my first book, Cooking Outside the Lines. A whirlwind ride and one that has allowed me to meet and be mentored by so many people along the way.
I love cooking with seasonal ingredients that reflect the exciting food culture of Australia which includes native ingredients and unexpected flavour combinations. Loud, bold and surprising flavours that pack a punch are what drives my cooking style in the blurred world of sweet and savoury. I am now cooking for people, all day, every day and loving it.
It’s full steam ahead and I’m not leaving anything behind…
